Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in developing innovative solutions and overseeing complex projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Oversee system design processes, utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to develop detailed schematics and technical drawings.

- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues within systems or processes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources through comprehensive project management practices.
- Supervise the development and testing of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, mechanical design, and construction to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
- Utilize data analysis skills and MATLAB or Python scripting to optimize system performance and troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise manufacturing and assembly.
- Provide mentorship to engineering staff, fostering professional growth and technical proficiency.
- Maintain laboratory environments for testing, validation, and experimentation activities related to product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within an engineering environment.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and general schematics creation.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and system design methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Programming skills in Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar languages for data analysis and system control applications.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience is highly desirable.
- Expertise in root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Familiarity with GD&T standards for precise manufacturing specifications.
- Laboratory experience supporting product testing, validation, or research activities.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes.
