We are seeking an experienced HGV 2 Driver for ongoing work in Telford.
MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS HGV 2 EXPERIENCE
- Multidrop collections and deliveries
- Immediate start
- Day shifts
- Mon-Fri
The role will include:
- Carrying out daily walk-around checks of the vehicle, raising defects where appropriate.
- Inspect load safety before leaving the depot and request for items to be reloaded if necessary to avoid unnecessary damage and so as to ensure safety.
- Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law and company policies at all times and be respectful of other road users.
- Check goods off with delivery sites and obtain signature and print.
- Understand tachographs and drivers hours regulations and comply with them at all times
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain the cleanliness of the cab
Requirements:
- Driver CPC (required)
- Cat C licence (6 months experience)
