Concept Construction SW Ltd are looking for experienced Groundworkers to join our teams working on residential housing developments across Devon & Cornwall.
The role will primarily involve plot drainage and foundation works, so we are looking for experienced groundworkers who are confident working independently and as part of a gang.
Typical duties will include:
- Plot drainage, including foul and stormwater systems
- Installing drainage runs, manholes and associated connections
- Excavation and preparation of foundations
- Concrete foundations and footings
- Oversites and substructure preparation
- Service ducts and associated groundworks
- Working alongside 360 excavator operators
- Reading and working from site drawings and levels
- Maintaining a good standard of workmanship and productivity
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous experience in plot drainage and foundations is essential
- Ability to work from drawings and levels
- Own basic hand tools
- Reliable transport to site
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Ability to work efficiently within a housing site environment
We are looking for experienced groundworkers rather than general labourers, with applicants ideally having a strong background working on new-build housing developments.
We have ongoing work available across Devon & Cornwall, with opportunities for the right people to work with us long term as the company continues to grow.
Good rates of pay, regular work and further opportunities available for reliable and experienced operatives.
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
