Job Description
SR Logistics Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Procurement Manager to oversee strategic purchasing activities and strengthen supplier performance across the organisation’s logistics network. This role will focus on developing effective procurement strategies, improving supply continuity, and achieving cost efficiencies while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with suppliers, operations teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure procurement decisions support wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that optimise supplier relationships, costs, and supply chain resilience.
- Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, performance reviews, and long-term partnership development.
- Analyse purchasing trends, market conditions, and supplier data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business requirements.
- Monitor supplier compliance, delivery performance, quality standards, and commercial agreements.
- Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain risk management.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and provide strategic reports to support leadership decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement management, supply chain leadership, strategic sourcing, or logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of supplier management, contract negotiation, purchasing processes, and cost optimisation.
- Ability to evaluate supplier performance and develop commercially effective solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with procurement systems, ERP platforms, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Pay: £6,300.00-£8,800.00 per month
