Job Summary
Kedleston Dental practice is a predominantly Private practice, with Denplan and a small NHS list. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The successful candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and overall wellbeing. There is a degree of flexibility with days but would ideally need to include a Monday and Tuesday.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical assessments and medical imaging.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilisation procedures to guarantee patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth practice operations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry through continuous professional development.
Skills
- Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays and intraoral scans.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently.
