Schools Relationship & Engagement Manager (Part-Time)

Cress is a platform dedicated to improving the lives of children. We do this through a digitalised preloved uniform platform, that saves parents money, creates funds for schools and measures environmental and financial impact. Working in partnership with Nottingham City Council, we are delivering our platform to schools across Nottingham through a fully funded one-year programme.
We're looking for a passionate and proactive Schools Relationship & Engagement Associate to ensure every school gets maximum value from Cress, creating outstanding experiences that lead to long-term success and contract renewals.
The Role
As our Customer Success Manager, you will be the primary relationship manager for schools across Nottingham. Your mission is to ensure every school successfully adopts Cress, actively engages parents, and achieves measurable outcomes throughout the funded contract period.
You'll spend much of your time visiting schools, building relationships with school leaders and staff, providing ongoing support, delivering training, and helping schools overcome challenges. Success in this role means schools are engaged, parents are actively using the platform, and schools see value in the platform
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding process for new schools, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation. This includes the initial onboarding process of counting and organising preloved uniforms.
- Visit schools regularly across Nottingham to build strong relationships with leadership teams and staff.
- Deliver short training sessions for school staff on how to maximise the use of Cress.
- Develop engagement plans tailored to each school's needs if necessary.
- Support schools in increasing parent engagement and platform adoption.
- Act as the main point of contact for schools throughout their contract.
- Identify barriers to success and proactively implement solutions.
- Monitor school performance, usage, and engagement metrics.
- Work closely with schools to ensure they achieve agreed success outcomes.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate product improvements to the wider Cress team.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Office Managers and Family Support Teams.
- Promote best practice by sharing success stories and examples between schools.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and progress using the company CRM.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure schools receive outstanding service.

- Parent engagement continues to grow throughout the contract.
- Schools actively use the Cress platform as part of their daily operations.
- Schools report high levels of satisfaction and value.
- Customer retention and contract renewal rates are achieved or exceeded.
- Schools become advocates for Cress and recommend the platform to others.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Relationship Management or Education Support.
- Is an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys building long-term relationships with customers.
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple schools simultaneously.
- Can confidently present, train and support groups of people.
- Is passionate about helping schools succeed.
- Is data-driven and comfortable using performance metrics to identify opportunities.
- Is self-motivated and enjoys working independently in the field.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel regularly across Nottingham.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with schools or within the education sector.
- Experience with SaaS or education technology.
- Knowledge of parent engagement initiatives.
