Practice Plus Group is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to join our Out of Hours team and make a real difference in the community.
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at The Junction Health Centre, located directly outside Clapham Junction train station. The centre is open 7 days a week, 8am–8pm, and we are looking for someone to provide cover on Fridays, ideally from 8am–8pm. We can consider a later start, provided a minimum of 8 hours is covered. There is also the option of Saturday cover, with flexibility for additional days for the right candidate. This role will offer up to 24 hours per week.
You will be a key member of our team, using your advanced clinical skills to provide autonomous care for patients presenting with acute or undifferentiated conditions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your clinical expertise in both urgent care and general practice.
You will be required to work within Clinical Guidelines, Policies and Procedures and use expert judgment where necessary. You must be able to prescribe within your professional competence.
Responsibilities
As an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you’ll be vital to the Units’ success, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients autonomously every day. As well as ordering investigations and interpreting results, you’ll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public.

- Master’s degree in Advanced Practice
- Recent work experience within a primary/urgent care environment
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Current NMC pin
- Excellent assessment, decision-making and communication skills
