We seek an experienced Advanced Nurse or Paramedic Practitioner to join our Out-of-Hours team at The Junction Health Centre (outside Clapham Junction station). This is a permanent part-time role (up to 23 hrs/week). You will: provide advanced urgent care (Fri 8am–8pm cover, 8h minimum) with optional Saturday sessions, covering undifferentiated illness and injuries.
Requirements:
- Completed Master’s degree in Advanced Practice.
- Current professional registration (NMC or HCPC) with independent prescribing (V300).
- Recent experience in primary or urgent care.
- Excellent clinical assessment, decision-making and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients autonomously in urgent and general practice settings, including ordering/tests and prescribing within competence.
- Provide holistic patient care and health promotion (e.g. chronic condition follow-up).
- Refer or discharge patients safely according to protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in clinic governance (clinical meetings, audits, case reviews).
