- School Cleaning Operative: £12.71 per hour
- School Cleaning Supervisor: £13.55 per hour
- Relief Cleaner: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting for three opportunities at Carrfield Primary Academy:
School Cleaning Operative
- Monday to Friday
- 3:15pm – 5:30pm
- 43.8 weeks per year
School Cleaning Supervisor
- Monday to Friday
- 3:15pm – 5:30pm
- 43.8 weeks per year
Relief Cleaner
- Approximately 6 hours per week
- Flexible working pattern (morning, afternoon or evening depending on business needs)
- Additional hours may become available
- Must be flexible to work across school cleaning requirements
All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
Job Summary

We have opportunities for experienced cleaners, an experienced Cleaning Supervisor, and a flexible Relief Cleaner to help deliver high-quality cleaning services within a busy school environment.
Working as part of our Cleaning & Hygiene division, you'll help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor or Contract Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
For applicants interested in the Cleaning Supervisor position, you'll also support the day-to-day management of the cleaning team, ensuring cleaning standards are achieved and supporting the Contract Manager where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hoover classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
- Dust and wipe desks, furniture and touchpoints.
- Clean and sanitise toilets and washroom facilities.
- Mop hard floor surfaces.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Replenish soap, paper products and other consumables.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely in accordance with COSHH guidance.
- Report maintenance issues or defects.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
- Deliver high standards of cleanliness within allocated timescales.
- Represent Heb Group professionally at all times.
Additional responsibilities for the Cleaning Supervisor include:
- Supervising and supporting the cleaning team.
- Carrying out quality checks to maintain cleaning standards.
- Assisting with staff training and induction where required.
- Liaising with the Contract Manager regarding staffing, supplies and site requirements.

Desirable
- Previous commercial cleaning experience.
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe cleaning practices.
- Experience working within a school environment.
- Previous supervisory experience (for applicants interested in the Cleaning Supervisor role).
