Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, along with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target demographic.
Duties
- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and feedback; respond promptly to audience inquiries.
- Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media.
- Assist in managing public relations efforts by crafting press releases and coordinating outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
- Understanding of diverse audience preferences and taboos across regions (NA, EU, APAC, etc.).
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools is an advantage but not essential.
