When guests are staying at Penicuik House, someone needs to be looking after them, and the house, through the night. The Night Supervisor is that person: the calm, reassuring presence who makes sure guests are safe and well looked after overnight, the house is secure, and everything is in order for the morning.
This is a role of real trust and responsibility, carried out largely independently. It suits someone who is steady, dependable and discreet, taking quiet pride in looking after both people and a special place while others sleep. You’ll be confident working on your own, responding calmly to anything that arises, and ensuring the estate is ready to welcome a new day.
The role is offered on a casual basis with overnight shifts scheduled according to occupancy and operational requirements. A competitive rate of pay is offered, depending on experience.
