General Assistant.. ( 9-14 hours per week)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to take, box and serve food orders within our chip shop. We are a busy and popular Chip Shop located within Norwich.
Duties
- Take accurate food and drink orders.
- Box and server food and drinks orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the work area.
- Washing Up and complete general cleaning tasks as requested.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper accounting of all sales.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Shift Times
- 4/5pm - 9pm - One Weekday Evening & Fridays & Saturday Evenings ( One Saturday evening off a month)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £9.00-£13.00 per hour
