We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing insights that help drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and business performance metrics.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Develop financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
- Conduct profitability, cost, revenue, and trend analyses.
- Support business units with financial planning and decision-making.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and financial controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance, banking, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Knowledge of financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools.
- Understanding of UK financial regulations and reporting standards.

Pay: £43,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
