About the Business:
Our Client is a family run business in the poultry industry in the Republic of Ireland and the UK, specialising in the hatching of day-old chicks. The company was originally set up in 1981 and since then has grown and developed into a business producing in excess of 3 million broiler day old chicks per week.

This is a varied role where you'll lead by example, help coordinate daily production activities and ensure the highest standards of chick welfare, biosecurity, quality, hygiene and health & safety are maintained at all times. Shifts: 3am-11am , Mon-Fri
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To Support the day-to-day operation of the hatchery.
- Lead, motivate and support a small production team.
- Assist with daily hatchery production and operational requirements.
- Monitor and maintain high hygiene and biosecurity standards.
- Manage stock levels, stores and consumable supplies.
- Carry out a variety of hatchery tasks as required.
- Ensure all working areas, both inside and outside the hatchery, are kept clean, organised and compliant with biosecurity requirements.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of bird welfare.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are followed.

- Flexible and hard working.

- Ability to work shifts.
- Previous production/factory experience is desirable.
