Job Summary
Andrew Watt Ltd has been supplying car parts in Glasgow since 1935, and our continued success is down to our excellent customer-facing team. We are currently looking for an all-around member of staff to deliver, put stock away, pick stock, answer phones and serve the counter. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM until 5 PM. This is not simply "just" a driver's job, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn all 360 degrees of our operation. The successful candidate must:
- be local to Pollokshaws
-As a Full Time Multi Drop Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods across designated routes in Anniesland, working Monday to Friday. This role requires a valid driving licence and emphasizes core driving skills, along with premium experience in delivery and commercial driving. You will also leverage relevant skills such as warehouse experience and effective communication to navigate challenges and maintain high service standards. Responsibilities
- Operate a multi-drop delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as required, and assist in warehouse operations when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates and resolve any delivery issues.
- Maintain the vehicle in good condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
