Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will lead food preparation and cooking operations, oversee kitchen activities, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver outstanding dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production
- Manage food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
- Oversee food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Lead team management efforts, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development
- Ensure timely service by coordinating with serving staff and maintaining workflow efficiency
- Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring every dish meets guest expectations
Requirements
- Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong food preparation skills
- Supervising experience in a kitchen environment, demonstrating leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and hygiene
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
- Excellent team management skills with a focus on motivating staff and fostering teamwork
- Strong understanding of food production, cooking techniques, and menu development
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is highly desirable
