Turning Point Scotland’s Service in South Ayrshire is seeking a leader to join us in a role that is challenging, rewarding, and far from routine. As an Assistant Service Co-ordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting adults with a wide range of needs, offering person-centred support and working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
You’ll take on a leadership role in our South Ayrshire Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, individualised care & support alongside a well-established team.
About the Role
As Assistant Service Coordinator, you will:
Support the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to lead day to day operations ensuring consistent, person-centred care that reflects our values.
Play an active role in supervision, appraisals, and the ongoing development of your team.
Be the first port of call when challenges arise, making calm, thoughtful decisions that keep people safe.
Lead the development and review of individual support plans that reflect each person’s goals, rights and aspirations.
Promote a positive work culture, of inclusion, safety, and empowerment.
Build genuine connections with families, external agencies and the wider community, to support full Citizenship for the people we support.
Support service users to engage in the meaningful activities that they choose.
Promote the highest standards of health, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.
Lead on practice which is grounded in evidence-based approaches, like positive behaviour support, to guide your team and improve outcomes for those you support.
