The Role
We are seeking a proactive, highly organised, and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team based at our site in Weeton/Greenhalgh (PR4 3HN).
Acting as a first point of contact for daily HR queries, you will play a hands-on role in streamlining our administrative processes, maintaining compliance, and supporting site managers with employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
- Contract & Lifecycle Management: Draft and issue offer letters, contract amendments, leaver documentation, and maintain accurate employee records on our HR system (Elf).
- Recruitment Support: Assist with shortlisting applications, scheduling interviews, taking notes, and serving as a second panellist during interview sessions.
- Compliance: Conduct Right to Work checks as required and assist in the occupational health visits including planning a schedule and updating records of completion and escalating any queries
- Training Coordination: Create new users and line managers on our online training platform—monitoring starter/leaver progress, tracking compliance, and issuing automated reminders and SPUD letters.
- Inductions: Deliver face-to-face site inductions to ensure new starters receive essential site information, consistent Health & Safety knowledge, and core Food Safety training from Day 1.
- First-Line HR & Site Support: Provide face-to-face, daily guidance for on-site managers on absence management, return-to-work discussions, and first-stage meetings.
- Process Improvement: Assist with migrating manual records onto automated digital systems to reduce administrative errors and boost overall team efficiency.
About You
- Experience/Background: Previous experience in an administrative role (preferably within HR, operations, or office management). Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or multi-site environment is a advantage!
- Systems & Data: Strong IT skills with experience maintaining databases/HR software and a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to provide face-to-face guidance to site managers and team members alike.
- Organisation: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.

· Competitive Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE).
