Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled New Build Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical systems on new construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and quality expectations, contributing to the successful delivery of cutting-edge building developments. Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in new buildings according to detailed plans and specifications
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical installations to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation phases promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless project progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
- Support maintenance activities post-installation as needed, including minor repairs or adjustments
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on new build or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in installation work
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively
- Valid driving license to travel between multiple job sites as required
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members and clients
- Customer service orientation to address client needs professionally during site visits or inspections
- Basic understanding of CCTV systems and IT infrastructure is advantageous but not essential
- Experience with maintenance tasks related to electrical systems is preferred
