Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Level 3 Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children within a nurturing environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development in line with early childhood education standards.
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children’s independence and social skills.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and adherence to organisational policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent management and leadership qualities within the team.
- Assist with organising daily routines, including meal times, rest periods, and outdoor play.
- Support the professional development of junior staff members through mentoring and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Previous management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to liaise effectively with colleagues, children, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between nursery locations or community activities. Pay: £27,500.00-£28,500.00 per year
