About the role
We are looking to expand our busy Warehouse team and are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dedicated team. Full forklift training will be given to those staff that would like to partake. Potential for a permanent contract based on performance and future vacancies.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials. Handle goods with care to prevent damage.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
- Assist management with regular stock take counts to ensure accurate inventory
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards.
- Follow company procedures to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
About the person:
To be a successful candidate for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes, skills and experience:
- GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A-C or levels 4-9)
- Proficient in Microsoft software
- Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to join in with a friendly team
- Ability to work hard in a busy environment
