As demand for renewable technologies continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Solar PV & Battery Storage Electrician to join our expanding installation team.
Working throughout Lincolnshire and the surrounding counties, you'll install premium renewable energy systems including Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, Air Source Heat Pumps and associated electrical infrastructure.

About the Role
As a Solar PV & Battery Storage Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, servicing and maintenance of renewable energy systems across domestic and commercial properties.
Working alongside our experienced installation teams, you'll ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install domestic and commercial Solar PV systems.
- Install hybrid inverters and battery storage systems.
- Install AC and DC cabling and associated electrical equipment.
- Install and upgrade consumer units where required.
- Carry out inspection, testing and commissioning in accordance with BS7671.
- Complete Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works Certificates and commissioning documentation.
- Perform fault diagnosis, maintenance and repairs on existing renewable energy systems.
- Install EV charging points where required.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and installation plans.
- Ensure all work complies with BS7671, MCS Standards, Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers throughout each installation.
- Complete digital job reports and installation records accurately.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to a professional standard.
- Represent Everflow Renewables Ltd professionally at all times.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Qualified Electrician
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong inspection, testing and fault-finding experience
- Excellent understanding of domestic electrical installations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High standards of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to health and safety
Desirable Qualifications
The following are advantageous but not essential as training can be provided:
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- ECS Gold Card
- BPEC Solar PV Qualification
- BPEC Battery Storage Qualification
- BPEC EV Charging Qualification
- MCS installation experience
- Solar PV installation experience
- Battery Storage installation experience
- EV Charger installation experience
- Manufacturer accreditations (Solis, Duracell Energy, GivEnergy, Tesla, SolarEdge, Enphase, MyEnergi or similar)
