Painter & Decorator (sub-contractor position)
Location: Plymouth to Exeter (covering sites across Devon)

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Painter & Decorator to join our growing team. You’ll be working on a variety of residential and commercial projects across Plymouth, Exeter, and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Whether you’re an experienced decorator with several years in the trade or a newly qualified painter looking to build your career, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interior and exterior painting and decorating.
- Surface preparation including filling, sanding and priming.
- Wallpaper hanging (desirable but not essential).
- Working as part of a small, friendly team.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
- Travelling to jobs across the Plymouth to Exeter area.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in painting and decorating or a recognised painting and decorating qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own vehicle (essential).
- Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
Desirable
- CSCS Card.
- Experience in both domestic and commercial decorating.
- Ability to carry out basic repairs and preparation work.
