We are recruiting 5 x reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Container Night drivers in Crewe
Monday to Friday
£19.50ph (inclusive of holiday pay)
Start times 17:00pm/18:00pm each day
Immediate starts, this work is ongoing, long term work with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
·To be able to carry out 2/3 drops per shift / no handball
·Ensure the company’s Health and Safety policy is adhered to
·To communicate with transport office
·To complete all paperwork in an orderly manner
·To work to all WTD rules
Skills and Experience
·Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required
·Good communication skills required
·No DD, DR , IN’s and no more than 6 points on your license
Previous container experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
What we're looking for:
- Valid Class 1 (CE) licence
- Ideally 6 months + Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no major endorsements)
- A professional, reliable attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
