Part-Time Plant Technician & Installer – £25–£35/hr – Biophilic Design Studio, London
We’re a small but highly regarded biophilic design company based in London, known for our innovative and beautiful indoor plant installations, outdoor terraces, and bespoke private gardens. Our clients include global corporates, design studios, and discerning homeowners — and we’re now looking for an experienced plant technician and installer to join our team.
This is a part-time role, but we pay well above industry average, so it feels like full-time value for your time.
What you'll do:
- Maintain stunning subtropical interior plant schemes for corporate clients across London (soil-based and hydroponic systems).
- Assist with or lead installations of both indoor and outdoor schemes ranging from elegant office lobbies to leafy rooftop terraces.
- Engage with clients professionally and reliably our reputation is built on trust and beautiful results.
What we’re looking for:
- Hands on experience maintaining and installing subtropical indoor plants (hydro and soil).
- Familiarity with outdoor planting, seasonal changes, and container-based garden layouts.
- A full UK driving licence and confidence navigating London.
- Someone with an eye for detail, strong plant knowledge, and a natural sense of aesthetics.
Pay & Hours:
- Part-time, flexible hours
- £25/hr starting rate (maintenance), rising to £30/hr for installations.
- After your first three months, we offer up to £35–£40/hr based on experience, initiative, and the type of work undertaken.
