Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Consultant Psychologist to work across two specialist rehabilitation hospital services in West Yorkshire with an overall CQC rating of “Good.”
Role snapshot:
The successful candidate will join compassionate and well-established multidisciplinary teams within two adult male rehabilitation services. The role will involve working across dual sites, supporting service users with a range of complex mental health needs, neuropsychiatric presentations, physical health needs, dementia, and severe enduring mental illness.
The post holder will manage a specialist clinical caseload, delivering psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention, alongside facilitating individual and group therapy sessions. The role will also involve contributing to service development, clinical leadership, supervision, and psychologically informed care across both services.
Contract type – Permanent
Hours – Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Part-time applicants are also considered)
Salary – £68,000 - £78,500 per annum
Experience required:
Applications are welcomed from Clinical, Counselling, and Forensic Psychologists with HCPC registration and significant experience working within adult inpatient or rehabilitation mental health services.
