RH Fibreboard Containers are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our team in Longwell Green.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing packaging manufacturing business, operating an automated Eterna die press and producing high-quality corrugated products for a wide range of customers.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45am to 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:45am to 12:15pm
About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for safely setting up and operating an automated sheet-fed Eterna die press, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards while meeting production targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating the automated Eterna die press
- Monitoring machine performance, production output and product quality
- Carrying out quality checks and identifying defects or machine issues
- Completing production records and job paperwork accurately
- Following standard operating procedures and safe working practices
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and customer deadlines
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and safety conscious
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
- Can work effectively as part of a small team
- Is confident taking ownership of machine performance and output
- Has previous machine operating, manufacturing, die press or corrugated packaging experience (desirable but not essential)
