Join our dynamic team as a Workshop Co-ordinator, where your organizational skills and mechanical knowledge will drive the success of our workshop operations. This is a key role within the business, helping to keep the workshop running smoothly by managing customer bookings, organising the workshop diary and keeping our computer systems and job records accurate and up to date
Duties
- Booking cars and vans into the workshop with customers.
- Managing and organising the workshop diary.
- Arranging vehicle collections and drop-offs with customers.
- Organising and managing the use of our courtesy vans.
- Speaking with customers by phone, email and in person.
- Entering new jobs and customer details onto our computer systems.
- Keeping job records updated throughout the repair process.
- Liaising with mechanics and technicians to keep jobs moving efficiently.
- Keeping customers informed about the progress of their vehicles.
- Managing job priorities and helping ensure vehicles are completed on time.
- Preparing and maintaining job paperwork and documentation.
- Handling general workshop administration.
- Ensuring the workshop diary and computer records are accurate and organised.
Experience
You will need to be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using computers and workshop management systems.
- Experienced in dealing directly with customers.
- A confident and professional communicator.
- Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced garage environment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Experienced in arranging vehicle bookings, collections and courtesy vehicles.
- A good team player who can work closely with technicians and management.
Working Hours
We can offer flexible working hours between 25 and 40 hours per week, depending on availability and the needs of the business.
A minimum of 5 hours per day is required.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
