Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental team. Our Dental Practice provides NHS and Private Dental treatments. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, working chairside and carrying out infection control procedures.
This position requires good organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Good hourly rate, which is negotiable and dependent on experience / qualifications.
Full or Part time.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients and addressing their concerns before, during, and after treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Carry out Decontamination duties
- Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse
- GDC Registered
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care while maintaining an organised work environment.
- A caring attitude towards patients and a commitment to professional development within the field of dentistry.
