Full-Time Front of House Receptionist – Private Dentistry

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a professional and enthusiastic Front of House Receptionist to join our friendly and dynamic team.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping their experience. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and organised approach, and a genuine passion for helping people. This is a full-time, patient-facing position at our modern, fully private practice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls and patient enquiries
- Book, reschedule, and manage appointments using dental software
- Take payments and manage daily banking procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality
- Coordinate with clinicians and nursing staff to ensure a smooth patient journey
- Follow up with patients for treatment reminders and feedback
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and post
- Manage waiting areas and ensure cleanliness and comfort for patients
- Prepare welcome packs and support with patient onboarding
- Assist with inventory checks and ordering of front-desk supplies
- Help with patient consent forms and medical history updates
- Support practice events and promotional activities as required
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a dental practice or similar front desk role
- Strong administrative and office management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Personable and confident when interacting with patients
- Proficient in managing patient appointments and records
- Familiarity with dental software and billing processes (preferred)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Motivated, friendly, flexible, reliable, and organised

Schedule:
- 37- 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, with 1 day off in the week or weekend, and some flexibility)
