HGV Class 1 (CE) & Class 2 (C) Drivers – General Haulage & Palletways

Pay: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour (depending on licence)

We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious Class 1 (CE) and Class 2 (C) HGV Drivers to deliver high-quality transport services across the UK.
Our work includes general haulage and Palletways multi-drop distribution, offering a variety of driving opportunities with regular, ongoing work and competitive rates of pay.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries and collections for general haulage and Palletways customers.
- Safely operate Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles in accordance with all road traffic legislation.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and PODs are completed accurately using a handheld device (training provided).
- Secure loads correctly and maintain the highest safety standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service at every collection and delivery.
- Comply with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Category CE (Class 1) or Category C (Class 2) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of UK road transport regulations.
- Professional, reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
