Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Little Channels offers a wide range of food from our bar food through to Afternoon teas and Wedding breakfasts. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Assist in the organisation and supervision of kitchen operations during service
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional experiences
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Contribute to menu development and presentation ideas
- Serve food to guests when required, ensuring prompt and courteous service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential

The role is for 45 hours per week over 5 days.
28 days holiday allowance including bank holidays
Pay: £31,000.00 per year
