Overview
We are seeking experienced SIA Door Supervisors to join our security team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at various venues and events. This role requires professionalism, vigilance, and excellent customer service skills. All positions are paid, including internships, with opportunities for career development within the security industry. The ideal candidates will possess relevant SIA licences and have prior experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or CCTV operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorised personnel gain access
- Conduct thorough ID checks and manage entry protocols in accordance with licensing requirements
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter antisocial behaviour and unauthorised access
- Use CCTV systems effectively for surveillance purposes and incident monitoring
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
- Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently and professionally
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure safety and orderliness
- Document incidents accurately and complete relevant reports for management records
- Collaborate with other team members to uphold high standards of security and customer service
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- First aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
- Professional appearance and demeanour suitable for a customer-facing role
