Job Summary
We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients in a variety of MSK contexts. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Utilise various techniques to improve patients' mobility and functionality.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress in accordance with clinic policies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy.
- Experience or knowledge in paediatrics (is an advantage).
- Familiarity with patient care standards.
- Understanding the benefits of referral pathways to other medical practitioners
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in patient assessments and treatment plans.
