**Job Summary**
We are currently seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator / General Handyman to join our team. This role requires proficiency in painting and decorating, as well as the ability to perform day-to-day handyman property services. Additionally, experience in gardening and landscaping is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be provided with a company van, therefore, a valid driver's license is required.
**Responsibilities**
- Execute painting and decorating tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct general handyman services including repairs, installations, and maintenance work as required
- Perform routine property inspections and general maintenance tasks, with basic knoeledge in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Assist with gardening duties including lawn care, planting, and landscaping
- Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project specifications and requirements
**Requirements**
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator, with a strong understanding of painting techniques and materials
- Solid handyman skills with the ability to tackle various property maintenance tasks
- Proficiency in gardening and landscaping practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
