Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Ad-Hoc)
Location: Leeds, LS10 1TA
Salary: £12.21 p/hr
Shift details: Ad hoc shifts with hours of 06:00 – 18:00
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently recruiting new Warehouse Operatives, providing an excellent opportunity to join the Moran Logistics team at our Leeds site. The Warehouse Operative position will be on a 4 on 4 off shift basis working hours of 06:00 – 18:00.
What we are looking for:
Warehouse:
- To ensure orders are picked accurately.
- To ensure goods-in are receipted in accordance with policy.
- Ensure all loads are checked and completed in full prior to dispatch.
- Ensure all loads are secure prior to despatch.
- To ensure stock rotation is maintained at all times.
- To manually load and unload trailers.
- To confirm all inbound and outbound loads are accurate. To report any discrepancies to management.
- To assist with stock cycle count.
- To ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- To work efficiently to agreed timescales.
Health & Safety:
- To ensure you follow safe working practices.
- To promptly report all accidents and incidents to your line manager.
- To assist in accident investigations as necessary.
- To ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained.
- To adhere to relevant site rules, QEHS policies and procedures including quality procedures, HACCP, safe systems of work and environmental control
Hygiene:
- To maintain high levels of site hygiene standards in accordance with company procedures.
Communication:
- To listen carefully to instructions.
- To keep your management up to date with any work issues that may affect deadlines.
- To communicate to your line manager issues that could impact the business.
Flexibility and Ad-Hoc:
- To be flexible to cover sickness and holidays as necessary.
- To carry out any other task that is reasonable and within your skill set as business needs dictate.
