Job Details: We are seeking a reliable and experienced GRP Assembler to join our growing team at our manufacturing facility in Ammanford.
The successful candidate will be involved in the assembly and finishing of GRP products, working from production drawings and specifications to produce high-quality finished components. This role requires attention to detail, a practical approach, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assemble GRP components using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Trim, drill, fit and finish GRP products to specification.
- Read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of the production team to meet daily targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in GRP assembly, composites, fibreglass manufacturing or a similar production environment is preferred.
- Confident using hand and power tools.
- Good practical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work from drawings and written instructions.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- A good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
