KeolisAmey Docklands (KAD) operates and maintains the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) on behalf of Transport for London. Every day, we deliver a safe, reliable and customer-focused railway for millions of passengers across London.
As we enter an exciting new franchise period, we are looking for a talented and analytically minded Business Transformation & Innovation Analyst to help drive innovation, transformation and continuous improvement across our business.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our Commercial & Strategy team, helping shape the future of the DLR through data-driven insight, innovation and emerging technologies.
The Role
Reporting to the Business Transformation & Innovation Manager, you will support the delivery of KAD's transformation and innovation agenda, helping identify opportunities to improve operational performance, customer experience, safety and commercial outcomes.
You will analyse complex datasets, support innovation projects, maintain risk and performance reporting, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide recommendations that help solve business challenges and create value for our customers and stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, technology, innovation and continuous improvement within a complex operational environment.
What You'll Do

Support the delivery of KAD's innovation and transformation programmes.

Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities and risks.

Produce reports, dashboards and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.

Support the development and implementation of innovation initiatives and business improvement projects.

Assist with maintaining the franchise risk register and performance frameworks.

Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.

Support the implementation of KAD's SEED (Service Excellence Every Day) business management framework.

Assist in evaluating emerging technologies, AI solutions and automation opportunities.

Contribute to business cases, investment proposals and improvement initiatives.

Monitor the effectiveness and benefits realisation of transformation activities.

Support compliance, governance and reporting requirements across the franchise.
What You'll Need
Essential
-
Experience supporting business transformation, innovation, continuous improvement or change initiatives.
-
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex datasets.
-
Experience producing reports and recommendations using data-driven insights.
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
-
Experience using data analysis and reporting tools.
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Desirable
-
Experience working with Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps or automation tools.

Experience using AI tools or data analytics platforms.

Experience within rail, transport, infrastructure or other regulated environments.

Knowledge of innovation management or continuous improvement frameworks.

Familiarity with business transformation programmes.

Knowledge of operational risk management and governance processes.
