Unqualified 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Polish Speaker Required) - Slough - September Start

This role is due to start in September 2026, with a paid trial day taking place on 2nd July 2026.

You do not need previous experience within a school setting as a Unqualified 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, provided you have previous experience working with children in a professional capacity and a general understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant.

Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND.

Foster the growth and development of children, ensuring their educational journey begins on a positive note.

Support children with additional needs, tailoring your approach to create a comfortable and inclusive learning environment.

Build a positive rapport with the child and provide emotional support where required.

Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an engaging and stimulating environment.

Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in learning activities.

Must be fluent in Polish and English.

Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

Previous experience working with children in a school or alternative setting is desirable; however, candidates must have experience working with children in some capacity within the UK.

Enjoy supporting children and helping them progress in their learning.

Experience with SEND children is desirable, or a willingness to work with children with additional needs.

Hold, or be willing to apply for, a Child Only Enhanced DBS certificate.

Live in Slough or within a commutable distance.

Available to attend a trial day on 2nd July 2026.
