Line Manager
Location: Waltham Abbey
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off (6:45 am – 7:00 pm)
Reports to: Shift Production Manager

The Role
We’re hiring a Line Manager to take charge of a busy production line. This is a line management role with significant responsibility, where you’ll oversee both people and machinery to ensure production targets are met.
You’ll be coordinating workflows, leading a team, and making sure our equipment runs smoothly. It’s a hands-on role that requires leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Don’t worry if you haven’t worked with our machinery before — full training will be provided to give you the confidence and technical know-how you need.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and motivate your team to hit production deadline targets
- Oversee machinery operations and ensure equipment runs efficiently
- Plan daily tasks and allocate resources effectively
- Monitor product quality and enforce health & safety standards
- Drive efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain compliance records
- Coach and develop team members, supporting their growth and onboarding
- Escalate urgent issues and keep communication clear across departments
