Contract: Freelance, Zero-Hours (Hours expected to increase over time)
We're looking for a reliable, proactive accountant to join our growing practice on a freelance basis. Initially this is a zero-hours position, but we expect the workload to increase as we continue to grow.
Essential Requirements
- ACCA, ACA or Chartered qualified.
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Strong bookkeeping experience.
- Confident using Xero, Sage and/or QuickBooks.
- Experience preparing and filing Year End Accounts.
- Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Based in the UK.
About the Role
You'll be supporting a portfolio of small business clients, carrying out bookkeeping, preparing year end accounts, answering client queries and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
As the business grows, you'll have the opportunity to take on additional hours and become a key part of the team.
Contract
- Freelance (self-employed).
- Zero-hours contract initially.
