Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, blowouts, coloring, and styling tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines and product recommendations to enhance client results.
- Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to create complete looks.
- Engage with clients at the front desk, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth appointment scheduling.
- Upsell retail products and service packages to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing techniques and best practices to foster a collaborative environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, adhering to health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hairstylist with strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus for versatile styling options.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and actively listen to client needs.
- Experience with front desk operations including appointment booking and client check-in/out processes.
- Skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling are highly desirable.
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility on weekends or evenings as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for mentoring team members and building lasting client relationships.
