Your next role
The Systems Housing Manager will lead and coordinate a specialist housing systems team to deliver technical oversight and support for the required Housing management systems and all other related systems required to manage the landlord function and meet building regulatory compliance and social housing regulatory requirements across Council-owned properties.
The postholder will be the ‘technical expert’ and conduit between housing senior leaders and IT colleagues, ensuring the correct oversight, usage and data integrity of the systems, updates and contract management of the key providers of all systems software and licences, to enable robust governance and data insight for all Housing functions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, an excellent understanding of housing management and its appropriate use of IT solutions, and the ability to manage complex operational activities. The role also requires effective stakeholder engagement, excellent and clear communication, robust risk management, and a commitment to continuous improvement to safeguard residents, colleagues, and the wider community.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required and access to a car.
