Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities
- Create precise 2D & 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks and other CAD tools, ensuring adherence to GD&T standards.
- Develop schematics and system layouts for electrical components,
- Conduct root cause analysis on design issues, proposing effective solutions to optimise system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to support system design, integration, and testing processes.
- Perform design verification through simulations and analysis, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Support troubleshooting activities by analysing schematics and system diagrams, providing technical guidance as needed.
- Document design processes thoroughly to facilitate manufacturing, assembly, and future modifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and general schematic development skills.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles for precise manufacturing specifications.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively to identify issues within complex systems.
- Knowledge of system design principles across mechanical and electrical domains.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and design processes.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
