Stellar Drainage Environmental Services are seeking a dedicated JetVac Operator's assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
You will have a good understanding of safe working practices.
- The position requires the operative to be available evenings and weekends.
- Wearing of full uniform PPE, vehicle and mobile phone will be supplied
- Unblocking and Jetting Drains using Jet-Vac Machine
- Drain tracing
- Responsibility for the company assets & plant assigned for duties.
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with all current client processes and procedures.
- Using company provided device iPad / Tablet / phone and completion of appropriate paperwork for daily works (job sheets / risk assessments / plant sheets / driver checks).
- Interpreting the use of drawings and specifications
The following certification is desirable, though all experienced candidates will be considered:
- HGV Class 2 driving licence including CPC training updated
- Confined Space certification
- High Pressure Water Jetting certification
- Manual Handling
- Asbestos Awareness
- Abrasive Wheels
- Other relevant health and safety qualifications
The role requires some flexibility with regard to working hours, including the need to work some evenings and the occasional weekend, together with the need to occasionally travel outside of the Glasgow & Surrounding areas.
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
