At The Little Door & Co, a Barback is the engine behind the bar, ensuring everything is where it needs to be to support the bartenders and keep the party flowing smoothly. This role focuses on working with speed, awareness, and attention to detail, anticipating needs before they are asked for, and taking pride in keeping the bar clean, stocked, and ready for anything. You'll be reliable, hard-working, and switched on, building your skills along the way.
Key responsibilities include:
* Keeping the bar fully stocked with ice, glassware, and ingredients.
* Supporting bartenders during busy service periods.
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation behind the bar at all times.
* Collecting and polishing glassware efficiently.
* Restocking fridges and ensuring correct product rotation.
* Preparing garnishes and basic bar prep as required.
* Removing waste and keeping work areas clear and safe.
* Supporting opening and closing procedures.
* Communicating effectively with the bar team and floor team.
* Anticipating what the bar needs and acting proactively.
* Upholding all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
* Contributing to a positive, energetic team environment.
* Helping maintain a smooth, fast, and efficient service.
* Always being House Proud in both presentation and workspace.
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
