CLdN Ports Killingholme wish to recruit a Car Driver to work within our busy Vehicle Movements operation. The ideal candidates will have a flexible, professional and pro-active approach to work.
Your role
- Discharge and backload of vessels, driving cars, vans, tractor units, chassis and ad hoc vehicles including plant machinery. Full training will be provided for all vehicles
- Driving and locating a variety of multi fuel and electric vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Scanning of vehicles to locations
- You will undertake marshalling duties to ensure that drivers are aware of vehicle locations.
- Load building and ensuring vehicles are pulled in a timely manner in preparation for collection.
- Completing vehicle quality checks and report any damage completing the relevant paperwork and liaising with appropriate departments.
- You will be required to undertake Terminal housekeeping including litter picking and line marking duties.

- You must be a self-motivated individual
- You must have high attention to detail
- Good time-keeping is essential
- You must be able to work within a team.
- A flexible approach to work is necessary
- Must be willing to undertake any duties that may arise to contribute to the day-to-day running of the department
- You will hold a Full UK Manual driving licence for at least 12 months, any endorsement will be assessed on a case by case.
- Due to the requirement to drive a minibus and associated insurance cover, applicants must be aged 25 or over.
