Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative – Full Time
Fresh Ideas Direct Ltd - We are a well-established Fresh & Frozen Food Company with over 29 years in business, based in Wellingborough (Leyland Trading Estate, NN8 1RT).
We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our small, friendly team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role that includes both driving and warehouse duties:
- Working as part of a small team each morning to load delivery vans
- Delivering fresh and frozen products to multiple customers within a 50-mile radius
- Providing a friendly, professional service to customers
- Returning to the unit to clean and maintain your van
- Assisting with picking and preparing orders for the following day
One Monday every three weeks, you will spend the day in the warehouse alongside another team member:
- Putting away bulk goods-in deliveries
- Carrying out stock checks
- General warehouse upkeep and cleaning
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- No weekends
- No overtime
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a clean UK driving licence
- Is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Works well as part of a team
- Is friendly and customer-focused
- Takes pride in the cleanliness and care of their vehicle and workspace
- Enjoys working in a small, close-knit, family-run business
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
