Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing surfaces, and emptying waste bins regularly
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels to ensure continuous availability
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning activities
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to uphold the cleanliness standards of the facility
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within designated timeframes
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
- Strong communication skills for reporting issues clearly and working collaboratively with team members
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation to ensure safe and effective use
- Reliability with a positive attitude dedicated to maintaining a pristine environment at all times
Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
