Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Kids Coach to inspire and motivate children through engaging football activities and teaching. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in football coaching and teaching, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with young learners. Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate sports coaching sessions that encourage participation, skill development, and enjoyment
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for children during activities
- Assist in organising sports events, competitions, and programmes tailored to different age groups
- Provide guidance and support to children to develop their physical abilities and teamwork skills
- Monitor children's progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
- Maintain equipment and ensure the activity area is clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's participation and progress
- Promote the organisation’s values of health, fitness, and teamwork through enthusiastic engagement
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching children is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of child development principles related to physical activity
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young learners
- Previous experience working in organised sports programmes or educational settings is advantageous
- A recognised coaching qualification or relevant teaching certification would be beneficial but is not essential
